We at Maruhachi Muramatsu have continuously been particular about the natural materials we use in our products ever since the founding of our company in 1868, the first year of the Meiji period. We have developed a wide range of natural seasonings based on the key phrase of "technical innovation" as a specialized manufacturer of extract.
I assumed the position of president and representative director of the company in April 2000. I intend to continue to deploy our business operations while being particular about the natural materials used in our extract while also respecting the extensive history of our company.
My management ideology is based on the idea of "shining like the sun". Just as the sun continues to provide unlimited benefits to its surrounding environment, it is my hope that we will be able to be of continuing use to those persons that we come in contact with, including our clients, local personnel and our employees.
